CITT/ICTS Alberta Section along with their presenting partner Theatre Alberta will be holding a 2-day ETC Console Training Course at the Jubilee in Edmonton on March 26 & 27 2017. These courses will be taught by two ETC provided professional trainers.
Sunday March 26, 2017 – Level 2: Enhanced Skills Monday March 27, 2017 – Expert Topic: Busking for Live Events
The Level 2 class is open to everyone, although, CITT/ICTS and ETC strongly encourage those planning to attend the Level 2 course to review Level 1 by completing the online course, Level 1 Essentials for Eos Family Software beforehand. Especially if you haven’t attended any ETC training previously or are new to the console.
The Busking for Live Events class is intended for experienced professionals looking to enhance their speed and techniques in live environments. Sufficient knowledge of the console is required along with a core competence level. As such, if you would like to attend the Busking class please email alberta@citt.org to briefly describe your experience and receive a registration code.
All classes are strictly limited to 16 seats to ensure plenty of hands on time with the console. There will be no more than 2 people per console.
If you are a member of CITT/ICTS, Theatre Alberta or Associated Designers of Canada the cost is $100 per day. INCLUDES LUNCH
- Be sure to check with your employer, if they are a member of CITT/ICTS you can take advantage of that.
For all others the cost is $145 per day. INCLUDING LUNCH
- We encourage you to sign up for CITT/ICTS membership and then register at the reduced rate. Registering will also give you access to discounts on future learning opportunities.
If you are registering as a member of Theatre Alberta or ADC an access code is required to register. Please email alberta@citt.org to enquire.
All classes will be held at the Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium in Edmonton, Alberta. The Jubilee has graciously agreed to host the 2-day training as part of their 5th Annual Backstage Access Production Expo. With your paid registration to the Console Training you will receive a code to allow you to register for the Trade Show and any of the Backstage Access sessions on Tuesday March 28 for free! This will be provided later on once Backstage Access begins accepting registrations.
The CITT Alberta Section would like to acknowledge that WOW Lighting & Controls and Richard McDonald & Associates are proud to support Alberta's performing arts community and their financial support has contributed to the success of this event
