To mark the International Day of Light, and with the support of Women in Lighting, Light en Light Academy is pleased to host a special webinar titled “[en]LIGHTment Journey”, featuring three experts from different areas of the lighting world.

This free online event will take place on May 16 at 18:00 (Central European Time).

The webinar will feature:

• Lauren Dandridge, from the University of Southern California, who will speak about her work and insights in architectural lighting design;
• Julie Conway, a decorative glass lighting designer, who will share her creative process and personal experiences in the field; and
• Giny Vos, an international media artist. Light is her main material and research object; More recently, in the context of energy neutrality and sustainability, her practice has focused on working with daylight and reflection.

The goal of this webinar is to highlight the diverse paths taken by these professionals and to provide inspiration and guidance for those interested in pursuing a career in lighting-related fields. Whether you’re a student, a professional, or simply passionate about light and design, this session will offer valuable perspectives and practical takeaways.
