The Ontario Section of CITT/ICTS is hosting a Tax Workshop:
 
Be in control of your finances and make sure you are keeping the money you deserve! This workshop will be a comprehensive introduction to what you need to know about your taxes. We will be exploring some tax basics that everyone should know  including the impacts of married or common law status, moving expenses, CPP and EI. We will also cover some of the basic business structures and explore some of the differences between being employed or self-employed.

This workshop will introduce you to some of the basics of business and taxes and things you need to be aware of including the T2125, auto expenses, having a home office, capital cost allowance, and GST/HST. This will provide you with the information you need to ensure you are getting your money back! We’ll finish up with an introduction to investments and their tax implications in order to maximize your money back. This includes RESP’s; RRSP’s, TFSA’s, dividends and capital gains.
