Call for Sessions!

CITT/ICTS is now accepting session proposals for Rendez-vous 2024, which will be held August 14 to 17, at the Persephone Theatre, Remai Arts Centre, in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.

We are seeking proposals on a variety of topics in all areas of production for the live entertainment industry, including, but not limited to, Technical and Production Management, Stage Technology, Stage Carpentry, Lighting, Sound, Video, Properties, Wardrobe, Design, Architecture, Health & Safety, and EDI.

We invite you to submit your proposal for:

• Educational Sessions (90 min max): Share your knowledge on a specific subject.
• TEC Talks (45-60 min max): Share your technical expertise on AV integration, lighting, staging, pro audio, special effects, video mapping, virtual reality, business solutions or any other relevant topic.
• Workshops (one or two days max, August 13 and 14): Hands-on sharing of skills and expertise.
• Panel discussions (90 min max): Bring together a main presenter or moderator with guest panelists to share their knowledge on a subject.
• Roundtables (90 min max): Bring together participants to discuss around a topic.

Topics should be timely and relevant to our industry. We welcome presentations with a focus on Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) as well as on diversity initiatives for IBPoC identifying professionals and encourage topics that reflect on your perspective within the industry. CITT/ICTS recognizes the importance of these conversations during the conference in order to support and mentor a greater number of individuals in our industry.

About Rendez-vous: Held in a different city in Canada every year and open to both CITT/ICTS members and non-members, Rendez-vous is an annual event that aims to bring together emerging and seasoned professionals for 4 days of professional development and social activities.
