Job Description / Duties

Our team is hiring a Stage Manager to support our growing team. The successful candidate will have a thoughtful and precise approach to their SM practice while being able to adapt to and work as part of a team. The ideal candidate will be a collaborative, flexible and innovative emerging artist with a passion for telling female centric stories. Due to the public health situation in Ontario, while the production is currently planned to take place in-person, you will need to be comfortable transitioning their designs to a virtual format should public health restrictions change.

• Stage Managers are responsible for ensuring that performances run smoothly and to schedule.
• Organizing and managing the safe, and smooth running of both rehearsals and shows and ensure that performers and crew are in the right place at the right time.
• Liaising and communicating the production’s needs across all departments.
• Liaise with the Artistic Director regarding budgets.

Qualifications / Required Skills

Work experience in a similar role.
Exceptional interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
Good at organizing your own work and the work of others.
Technical thinking, knowledge of equipment specifications and excellent project management skills.
The ability to problem-solve and adapt on the fly.
A creative and collaborative spirit.
In depth knowledge of required paper work

Additional Information

Duration: March 4th, 2022 - April 12th, 2022

Salary: $200 Honorarium

All The Hats Productions seeks to create opportunities for emerging theatre artists of marginalized genders to gain experience, particularly in fields of Direction, Theatre Tech, and Design.
