Job Description / Duties

Term: 6 months starting January 9, 2012

- provide lighting for some of the shows presented by Imperial Theatre, generally the musical acts
- implement lighting designs provided by touring companies and rental clients
- operate lighting for most shows at the theatre
- lead crew in hang, focus, etc.
- maintain lighting equipment and inventory

Qualifications / Required Skills

- training and experience in lighting a variety of performances
- experience reading and implementing lighting plots in a variety of formats
- proficiency in programming and operating lighting boards, hang/focus and maintenance of lighting instruments
- experience lighting a variety of types of shows
- flexibility in scheduling
- willingness to assist in other departments as necessary
- the ability to be patient with both professional and amateur artists

Additional Information

Imperial Theatre will provide assistance with travel and finding accommodations.
