Job Description / Duties

Responsibilities include: adaption of lighting plots and paperwork for each venue, contacting the theatre for additional lighting information, calling of focus and cueing of show as well as assisting with the load in and load outs at each venue. Knowledge of the Strand Palette console is an asset. Canada’s Ballet Jorgen uses the Strand Palette lap top version to cue and run shows.

Qualifications / Required Skills

Must have theatrical and dance lighting design experience, good organizational skills, be efficient, work well with both professional crews and volunteers.
A valid driver’s license is essential. Duties will also include driving production vehicles including a cube van and/or mini van. Touring experience would be an asset.
French would be an asset.

Additional Information

This position requires out of town/province travel and flexible working hours including weekends and evenings.
