Job Description / Duties

Theatre Newfoundland Labrador is currently inviting theatre designers in the disciplines of set and props, costumes, and lighting to submit their resumes for the Gros Morne Theatre Festival’s 2013 season.

Qualifications / Required Skills

at least 2-5 years experience in theatre design
experience in designing for repertory theatre is an asset
a valid driver's license is an asset for set & props, costume designers
must enjoy working in a challenging creative environment

Additional Information

The Festival provides return travel (by the most economical method) for contracted artists.

The Festival provides guest housing in the community for contracted artists during their residency.

The Gros Morne Theatre Festival is a summer repertory theatre festival operated by Theatre Newfoundland Labrador. Each season the Festival produces six plays – three mainstage shows and three second stage shows. The Gros Morne Theatre Festival is located in the seaside community of Cow Head, Newfoundland and Labrador, which is situated in the spectacular Gros Morne National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Theatre Newfoundland Labrador is a member of the Professional Association of Canadian Theatres (PACT) and is designated as a “G” House.
