The Canadian Institute for Theatre Technology (CITT) is pleased to be hosting a roadhouse round table discussion for technical directors and stage technicians at Contact East. It will be an opportunity to connect, share, and learn from our peers.
Topics of discussion will include:
- Health & Safety
- Best Practices
- Training needs
- Touring riders
- Venue riders
- Shared information between theatres

Registration: The session is free, however we do ask that you RSVP your presence here. Please note that participants are permitted to attend the CITT session without a delegate pass, however, they cannot attend any other Contact East events or sessions without registering for a delegate pass.

FACILITATORS
Monique Corbeil
Based in Montréal, Monique has been working in the performing arts for over 30 years as a stage manager, assistant director, presenter and touring manager. From 1993 to 2001, she was the executive director of the Association des professionnels des arts de la scène du Québec (APASQ), the Québec professional union of stage designers. She is currently the National Coordinator for CITT/ICTS.
Karl Simmons
Karl has made a career in technical theatre production over the past 40 years. He has worked in all departments and has been Technical Director at the St. John’s Arts and Culture Centre for the last 10 years. Karl is the Atlantic Section Rep for CITT/ICTS.
