What's New > In-house Assistantship Program - Call for Applications!
CITT/ICTS is very happy to announce the launch of the In-house Assistantship Program!
About the program
The In-house Assistantship Program (IHAP) will fund individual, self-created short-term paid assistantships in which independent professional arts workers seeking to change directions or advance in their careers in production and technical theatre will be able to build their own training program in which they will shadow a more senior production professional within a host theatre organization, venue or production in Canada.
Each applicant can apply for a funding package of up to $8,000, and each successful applicant will receive the full requested amount for their project.
This program is for independent professionals (either recent graduates or experienced workers, working contractually and/or working part-time for an organization) from across Canada. Balanced national distribution is a key component to this program and projects will be assessed accordingly.
Funds are available to facilitate inclusion and participation from Equity-seeking groups. We highly encourage eligible applicants who feel they are responding to barriers to contact the IHAP Project Manager with any questions or concerns. Please visit our website for more details.
