IATSE Local 906, with the generous support of the Canada Performing Arts Workers Resilience Fund (CPAWRF), will be offering these three (3) courses free of charge.
All courses will be delivered at the Confederation Centre of the Arts, Sobey Family Theatre in Charlottetown, PEI.
→ Theatrical Fly Systems and Counterweight Rigging Training | COURSE DETAILS
When: January 18th, 2023 | 8:00am – 5:00pm
This day long training course with instructor Rick Boychuk focuses on the safe operation and maintenance of theatrical counterweight rigging systems.
→ ETC EOS Console Training | COURSE DETAILS
When: January 24th & 25th, 2023 | 9:00am – 6:00pm
This is a 2 day course with instructor Benn Hough focusing on the programming and operation of the ETC Eos Family of lighting consoles as they relate to conventional, LED and moving theatrical lighting fixtures.
→ DiGiCo SD Series Fundamentals Training | COURSE DETAILS
When: February 8th & 9th, 2023 | 8:00am – 5:00pm
This 2 day course with instructors Ian Robertson, Geoff Maurice & Dany Legendre of GerrAudio Distribution focuses on the programming and operation of the DiGiCo SD Series of audio consoles. The course will also touch on the DiGiCo S Series of consoles as well as ClearCom wired and wireless intercom systems.
These courses are open to all performing arts workers and offered at no cost as part of the trainings the IATSE is providing through the CPAWRF.
