Job Description / Duties

Reporting to the Production Manager, the Theatre Technician will be responsible for load-in, setup and maintenance of lighting and sound equipment, as well as day to day operation during performances. The successful candidate must be able to work as part of a team to complete work as scheduled while maintaining a clean, safe working environment. Initiative, problem solving skills, and the ability to think on your feet are definite assets.

Qualifications / Required Skills

The ideal candidate will have had experience running light and sound consoles as well as mixing live sound for musicals. This position is suitable for a graduate of a college or university technical theatre program.
