Job Description / Duties

Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity is looking for a variety of experienced technical staff in sound, lighting, staging, props, stage carpentry, wardrobe, and production assistance as additional support during the Banff Summer Arts Festival.

Flexible start and end dates are available for some positions.

Qualifications / Required Skills

We are considering applicants with varying levels of experience gained while working in a professional music, theatre, opera, or dance venue.

Level 1 Theatre Practitioners:

- possess at least 2000 hours' experience
- hourly wage between $16.98 and $18.26, depending on qualifications

Level 2 Theatre Practitioners:

- possess at least 3 years' experience
- hourly wage between $18.35 and $20.38, depending on qualifications

Level 3 Theatre Practitioners:

- possess at least 5 years' experience
- hourly wage between $22.04 and $23.223, depending on qualifications

Additional Information

Banff Centre offers a supportive work environment; a staff cafeteria; subsidized fitness facility memberships; staff events; free or reduced admission to concerts, films, lectures, and exhibitions; and support with finding local housing during the contract term.

Salary: $16.98 to $23.23 per hour, depending on qualifications
