An exciting opportunity is available for a senior professional to provide specialized technical expertise and direction to ensure equipment and resources are available to support performing and community-based productions and events. Reporting to the Director, Jubilee Auditoria, this position provides leadership to key functional areas and collaborates and maintains working relationships with clients, promoters, international touring productions, and community stakeholders. Key responsibilities for this position include providing expertise, consultation, advice and design plans for theatre productions to clients with very diverse needs, levels of experience and expectations; integrating and ensuring efficient operations of the facility; and maintaining technical equipment, rigging, and technical systems.
As our ideal candidate, you will be able to quickly anticipate and identify client service requirements. You must have excellent oral/written communication skills as well as a good understanding of applicable theatre production terminology. You will work collaboratively with a variety of clients and key stakeholders and demonstrate your leadership abilities. Your team will depend on you for knowledge of the OH&S Legislation, standards, engineering practices and codes and your ability to remain calm under stressful situations will ensure that you excel in this position. Your ability to build collaborative relationships, creative problem solving and ability to readily adapt to changing priorities will position you for success in this position and ensure that the Jubilee is the venue of choice for Alberta.

A university degree in a related field plus 5 years of directly related experience is required. Experience in occupational health and safety, AutoCad, and Vectorworks is considered an asset. In addition, experience with booking and theatre administration software is also required.
Equivalencies such as a related two-year diploma with at least seven years of related experience will also be considered.
Salary: $2,532.40 - $3,325.32 bi-weekly ($66,095 - $86,790 annually)
