Job Description / Duties

B5C is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Show Caller to be part of these exciting projects. The Show Caller will be expected be present in the Control Room, ensuring all departments are in place and call each rehearsal and ceremony. They will attend all rehearsals and ensure the continuous flow of information between all departments, document and disseminate any and all changes that come out of rehearsal. The Show Caller will work collaboratively and support departments to deliver each ceremony. They will develop and prepare the Show Calling script as the document that will run the ceremonies. The Show Caller will work in close collaboration with the Production Stage Manager and Stage Management to maintain project paperwork and delegate responsibilities effectively.

Qualifications / Required Skills

The candidate must have experience calling to Time Code and calling a show for Broadcast. The ability to function under pressure, while remaining flexible and detailed is essential. We are looking for a calm, strong, individual with experience in live events. Must be computer savvy, and have an excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and possess exceptional communication skills, with a proactive, solution-oriented approach to problem solving.

B5C Productions is a joint venture between Toronto-based BaAM Productions and FiveCurrents of Redondo Beach, California. They will produce the Pan Am Closing Ceremony on July 26, 2015, as well as the Opening and Closing Ceremonies for the Parapan Am Games on August 7 and 15, respectively.
