Position Overview

Intermediate set up and operation of large and small-scale audiovisual systems with a focus on team leadership and staff development while ensuring the utmost in client satisfaction.

Key Job Responsibilities (Weight %)

Equipment Operation (30%)

Responsible for accurate setup and efficient operation of intermediate equipment as listed on addendum (Level II).

Customer Service (30%)

Provide excellent service and strive to exceed the expectations and needs of internal and external customers. Maintain a positive relationship with all clients through effective communication.

Training/Staff Development (15%)

Assist in training other technicians on all floor activities. Serve as mentor for new hires. Model and reinforce a positive working environment centered around company values. Assist DET with training new hires on hotel and PSAV service expectations.

Operations Management (15%)

Perform daily floor management that includes assignment of tasks and assisting director with labor needs and scheduling. Work with DET, project managers and other technicians to establish coordinated communications for the management of events.

Equipment Maintenance (10%)

Lead team in proper security, storage, transportation, and maintenance of equipment. Participate in physical inventory count processes as requested.

Qualifications / Required Skills

Required Skills
• Knowledge of technical theory
• Advanced problem solving skills
• Education: High School Diploma Required. Bachelor Degree Preferred
• Minimum 1 year of field experience
• Ability to set up, maintain, and troubleshoot computer networks, hardware, and software applications.
• Excellent customer service skills proven through demonstrated ability to interact well with people and help others.
• Intermediate to advanced technical knowledge of Audio, Video, Projection, Computer and Lighting equipment.
• Advanced problem solving skills
• Portrays a polished professional image to meet company dress code requirements
• Must be able to accommodate a rotating work schedule to include nights and weekends.
• Must be able to lift 50lbs
