Job Description / Duties

Reporting to the Sales Manager or any other person designated by the management, you will be responsible to actively grow the business through creating project based opportunities in the much diversified sectors served by Solotech.

Main responsabilities:
◦Sell and monitor the execution of events and entertainment projects in different markets such as:
◦Concerts, tours, festivals, corporate events, trade shows, television & film.
◦Evaluate the client’s needs in order to propose innovative technological solutions.
◦Prepare quote for clients, price and contract details.
◦Collaborate closely with the management team, to ensure an on budget and on time delivery of the projects.
◦Establish, develop and maintain business relationships with current customers and prospective customers to generate new business for the organization.
◦Keep up-to-date with product applications, technical services, market conditions, competitive activities, advertising and promotional trends.
◦Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities.
◦Ensure follow-up with clients and partners for ongoing projects. Solve customer problems and complaints.

Qualifications / Required Skills

Qualifications :
◦Post-secondary education in administration, marketing or project management, or relevant work experience.
◦A minimum of five years’ experience in the entertainment industry.
◦General knowledge in the fields of audio, lighting, video and rigging.
◦Experience in business development.
◦Computer literate.
◦Available to work flexible hours.

◦žDemonstrate excellent skills for selling and provide strong customer service.
◦Strong interpersonal skills.
◦Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
◦Strong organizational, planning and analytical skills.
◦Strong communication skills.
◦Strong command of the English language.
◦Command of the French language is an asset, but not mandatory.
◦Ability to handle stress and manage multiple projects within strict deadlines.
