Regional Sales Manager for Canada

As a Regional Sales Manager servicing Canada, we challenge you manage Regional Factory Representative offices, Theatrical & Entertainment Dealer accounts, Production Companies, TV Studios and Commercial Electrical Distributor accounts to achieve assigned sales quotas within acceptable profit margins.
Conduct and lead sales training and product training efforts as required locally to ensure all Rep offices, Dealers and Distributors have adequate internal knowledge of Philips Entertainment sales, service and support process and procedure to conduct daily business.
Plan and make sales and product training calls with Rep offices and Dealers to local Architects, Engineers, Specification Agents, Consultants, Lighting Designers and End-User Customers as required to gain sole-source, primary naming or equal acceptance positioning on written specifications or other sales opportunities.
Work with Dealer network to emphasize importance of dealer-owned demo gear in their showrooms to increase product visibility and possible impulse buy opportunities.
Maintain and develop relationships with Inside Sales agents and Counter Sales agents at Dealers and Distributor locations within territory.
Work with marketing to develop new marketing opportunities for reps, distributors and dealers. Conduct Open House Events and attend Trade Show and Convention events as required.
Formulate selling objectives, complete with defined market research and promotional strategy for every big account.
Maintain comprehensive contact lists.
Coordinate sales activities with other Regional Managers and National Accounts offices.
Develop and conduct sales presentations as required for direct end-users, trade-show, open house or other marketing events.
Provide National Sales Manager with necessary sales reports, expense budgets, forecasts and market analyses
Assist with new product development research.
You will be reporting to our Sales Manager.
