Job Description / Duties
The Citadel Theatre is accepting resumes from experienced and emerging Props Builders interested in future opportunities within our production department. We are continually seeking talented individuals with a passion for storytelling through the design, construction, and management of theatrical props.
We welcome submissions from individuals with skills in:
Prop construction using wood, foam, fabric, metal, and mixed media
Scenic painting and finishing techniques
Soft goods fabrication and upholstery
Sourcing and adapting found objects
Collaboration with designers and production teams
Safe and efficient workshop practices
Qualifications / Required Skills
Ideal candidates will have:
Experience working in professional or educational theatre environments
Strong problem-solving and time management skills
A creative and flexible approach to building and adapting props
Familiarity with production and rehearsal processes
