Reporting to the Technical Director and Production Manager, Production Assistants will be responsible to assist with the smooth and efficient day-to-day operations of all aspects relating to their specific department, including production requirements for the main stage shows, maintenance of equipment and inventory, as well as show calls during the season. All department heads are expected to participate in show turnarounds; carpentry skills is a big asset.
Preference will be given to candidates with a minimum of four years combined post secondary education and work experience.
The lighting position requires the ability to work comfortably at heights.
The audio position requires the ability to learn a specific audio program quickly.

Lighthouse Festival Theatre is a highly successful summer theatre entering its thirty-second year of operation. Serving an all-Canadian mandate, LFT produces a main season of five shows from May through August, plus an encore presentation in September, Scare House, Youth Programs and an annual Playwrights’ Festival. LFT owns a 350 seat proscenium theatre in beautiful lakeside Port Dover.
