Job Description / Duties
Key Responsibilities:
• Load in / Load out lighting equipment for events
• Implementation and execution of the lighting design on job sites
• Properly deploy and implement lighting systems, rigging and control
• Knowledge in lighting system networking (MA net, ACN, Artnet)
• Program and Operate the lighting console (grand ma / Chamsys / ETC)
• Have knowledge of moving light troubleshooting on site
• Flexible schedule
Qualifications / Required Skills
The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
• Minimum of 3 years experience as a lighting technician in the event or theatre industry
• Flexibility, autonomy, team player
• Ability to handle contingency and work well under pressure
• Fluent in spoken and written English is essential
• Experience driving non air brake trucks (1 Ton, 3 Ton , 5 Ton) an asset
• Crew and Team management experience an asset
• Knowledge of WYSIWYG is an asset
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Salary: $30-$45/hour based on experience
