Job Description / Duties

Ballet Jorgen Canada is looking for a Lighting Director for it's 2011/12 Season.
Responsibilities include: adaption of lighting plots and paperwork for each venue and each ballet, calling of focus and cueing of show and assisting the BJC crew and touring crews on the load in and outs.

A valid driver's license is essential. Duties will also include driving production vehicles including a cube van.

Qualifications / Required Skills

The Lighting Director must have theatrical lighting design experience, good organizational skills, be efficient, work well under pressure, and work well with crews both professional and volunteers.

Touring and dance lighting design experience would be an asset.

Additional Information

The position is full time from late September until late April 2012.
