Job Description / Duties

Sales & Operational Support
- Support Account Executives with the preparation of quotes and work orders from both a technical and labour requirement perspective.
- Assist with concept creation and help determine equipment needs and technical solutions.
- Produce and prepare event documentation including but not limited to the creation of floor plans, production schedules, wiring diagrams etc.
- Assist the Operations Manager in carrying out daily operational duties.
- Arrange cross rentals of equipment when needed

Labour & Logistics Scheduling
- Ensure proper scheduling of personnel and transportation for confirmed events.
- Coordinate with Sales/Operations to ensure event labour and logistical requirements are accurate.
- Designate crew leads and communicate project scope, execution plan and crew responsibilities.
- Confirm venue elements such as load in procedures, power, loading dock permissions, etc.
- Arrange any required travel requirements, or per diem requests for assigned crewmembers.
- Focus on revenue maximization & cost control, in accordance with company operating procedures.

Employee & Freelance Administration:
- Provide direct supervision of employees and freelancers, including; timekeeping, approval of invoices and performance appraisals.
- Promote motivation, communication, teamwork and positive attitude between all employees.
- Document process improvements and identify opportunities to define standard operating procedures.
- Negotiate rates for outside labour.

Recruiting & Selection
- Evaluate staffing levels to ensure adequate resources are available for daily activities.
- Assist with the determination of pre-employment requirements
- Create and/or update job postings
- Participate in interviewing process, as needed.
- Provide training and support to all new hires and ensure they have required equipment and access.

Qualifications / Required Skills

- 4 + years audiovisual technical experience, with at least 2 years of supervisory experience.
- Ability to manage multiple requests and rapidly changing priorities in a fast paced environment.
- Capable of dealing with problems quickly and effectively.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are a must
- Solid written and oral communication skills
- Effective leadership and supervisory abilities.
- Able to work both in teams and independently with minimal supervision
- Capacity to read, analyze and interpret technical information and equipment specifications.
- Auto CAD knowledge /experience preferred
