Job Description / Duties

Field Service Canada is seeking a driven and dedicated individual for the Drawing & Documentation Specialist position.

Field Service Canada prides itself on a collaborative team, and the ideal candidate would work well with others during the design phase right through to the completion of the project.

The role involves a level of autonomy, with the candidate managing work loads within assigned deadlines, working with Project Managers to ensure all projects are delivered promptly and with high levels of integrity.

The role can be based remotely/WFH, however candidate must reside in Canada.

Includes the following job responsibilities:

Provide CAD support (Autodesk AutoCAD) to sales team, system designers and installers.
Generate new drawings and documentation, as well as modify existing drawings and documentation.
Manage and control device drawing blocks, icons and templates.
Manage and control shared cloud storage of documents and project data.
Create end user manuals, and one-sheet operations guides.
Input data and manage projects in our management tool.
Assist in the field for Take Offs, Site Surveys & Coordination
Provide necessary training and support for next level service technicians
Manages own time to perform within defined schedule
Interfaces with assigned project manager and client contacts
Local and out of town travel will be required

Qualifications / Required Skills

Strong ability to work with AutoCAD
Understanding of building and architectural drawings with the ability to read schematic plans / blueprints
Mechanical systems knowledge
Possess exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills with task priorities, timeline, and time management
Ability to effectively communicate verbal and written with team members
Great analytical skills, critical thinker
Detailed, with excellent organizational skills
Completion of post-secondary degree / diploma in engineering design and drafting technology or in a related field

Salary: 55,000 - TBD, Based on Experience
