Job Description / Duties

The CAD technician is responsible for creating detailed technical drawings based on the lighting designs to be utilized in the lighting installation for concerts and live entertainment / corporate events using WSIWYG software.

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Liaising with designer to gather requirements to convert
lighting designs into technical plans
- Read and interpret site and venue drawings to obtain
specifications
- Revise and update existing drawings reflecting design
changes
- Site visits and site survey to create accurate drawings of
locations / venues

Qualifications / Required Skills

Qualification Standards:
- Minimum 2 years’ related work experience
- Post Secondary education
- Applicant should be a self starter with good communication
skills and willing to be a team player
- Proficient in computer programs (MS Office , Word , Excel,
Outook) including AutoCAD and Vectorworks and WSIWYG
- Excellent communications skills both verbal and written
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to work on
multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

Salary: $18-$25/hour (based on experience) , profit sharing option
