Job Description / Duties

Rising Tide Theatre Company is actively searching for a competent and eager theatrical technician to join their team for their 20th annual Season in the Bite. Applicants are required to have graduated or be currently enrolled in a post secondary theatre production program (or equivalent experience), have sufficient knowledge of QLab, Logic / ProTools, analogue systems, live mixing, system design and calibration as well as wireless microphone etiquette and maintenance. Applicants should be eager and able to contribute to the artistic approach to technical theatre that is necessary for the process at Rising Tide. The successful applicant will be working closely with the current main space Head of Sound/Sound Designer as well as taking some independent responsibility for our Church Hall (studio) space. The 2013 Season in the Bite runs from May - September, with a possible extension into a fall season and provincial tour.

QLab
Analog systems
Live mix engineering
Wireless mic etiquette
LX Hang and Focusing
Post Secondary Training in Theatre Production / Stage Craft (Or equivalent experience)

Additional Information

Accommodations provided by the company in the Trinity area.
A car and drivers licence are an asset but not a necessity.

Salary: Dependent on skills and experience
