Canada’s Wonderland proudly presents or brand new, classic rock musical “Start Me Up”. This musical review takes place at our International Showplace our beautiful 3000 seat outdoor amphitheatre. At the heart of the park, International Showplace has been home to a variety of concerts, special events and television broadcasts. Stage managers working at International Showplace get experience of working with a large cast on a long running song and dance show in a concert style venue.
•Stage managers will provide support to our professional musical director and choreographer during the rehearsal process. They will be responsible for ensuring that all shows are performed as they were set in rehearsal.
•Stage managers are responsible to give specific show notes throughout the run and deal with all performance management issues.
•Stage Managers will provide leadership to a large cast and crew and will be accountable for all elements of their specific venue.
•Stage Managers will get the added experience of working in other areas of entertainment and events throughout the park.
•Applicants should be currently enrolled or a graduate of a post secondary theatre program or have technical theatre experience.
•Excellent communication, guest service and problem solving skills
•Ability to work in a fast paced, unpredictable environment
•Abide by and enforce all safety regulations
•Available to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
•Reliable source of transportation, outside of public transit
Contract starts immediately and runs full time until September 11th with possible extension opportunities.
Salary: $10.50/hr + Bonus Potential
