Job Description / Duties

The Shaw Festival has an immediate opening for a Head of Wardrobe. This is a full time management position reporting to the Production Director.

Managing a staff of approximately 40 people and the construction of 10 -12 productions in repertory per season the position requires excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, detailed knowledge of wardrobe construction and costume history. The incumbent is responsible for the timely and cost effective production of all wardrobe related items.

Qualifications / Required Skills

In addition to repertory experience, applicants should have 5 + years professional work experience in a Wardrobe Department at a management level. Knowledge of Health and Safety compliance and the ability to promote a positive team environment in the workplace is essential.
