Join Greg Dougherty, Technical Director, for a virtual tour of the brand-new $68-MillionTom Patterson Theatre Centre at the Stratford Festival.
The new 77,500-square-foot theatre has been designed by architect Siamak Hariri of Toronto-based Hariri Pontarini Architects.
With inspiration taken from its riverside setting, the theatre’s exterior features undulating glass walls, hung with thin bronze mullions. At the heart of the building, clad in lime-washed brick masonry, is the 600-seat thrust-style auditorium. The building also features a rehearsal hall, education studio and “the Forum” - a flexible performance and reception space.

| Bio: Greg Dougherty is The Technical Director of the brand new Tom Patterson Theatre at the Stratford Festival. Building and Commissioning a new space has been a career long goal and he is thrilled to be seeing it through! Previously Greg has been the Technical Director for The Canadian Stage Company, Theatre Aquarius, Opera Hamilton and other companies. Greg has also spent many years as a theatrical and freelance Technician. |
