DESCRIPTION:-- The Commission seeks to define and uphold national standar
 ds while promoting a shared vision for training and professional develop
 ment. --\n\n-- Participation from across the country ensures that the co
 mmission can advocate for programs at risk, support institutions facing 
 challenges, and provide a space for transparent discussion around oversi
 ght and systemic issues. --\n\nThe initial meeting was held on Saturday
 , August 16, during Rendez-vous 2025 in Halifax, Nova Scotia. This meet
 ing laid the groundwork for how the Commission could strengthen connecti
 ons across the sector and encourage collaboration among educators and in
