Networking fundamentals in multimedia production networks

Remote monitoring and advanced lighting applications

  • Number: Limited to 15 participants
  • Cost: Free, included with registration for Networking fundamentals in multimedia production networks. Any available spaces will be offered to Expo-Scène visitors, on the day of the workshop
  • Credits: 0.5 ETCP renewal credits per hour of attendance
  • Level: Advanced
  • Language: English (offered in French on March 28)
  • Pre-requisites: Must have participated in the networking fundamentals workshop or be able to demonstrate equivalent experience.

Presenter Bio Notes:

Benjamin_Wahiche.JPG   Benjamin Wahiche: After 25 years in the audiovisual industry, Benjamin joins the Luminex team as an application specialist in 2017. Sound engineer by training, he specialises in digital audio transport when the first networked systems hit the market. During the last 5 years, he designed and implemented major projects such as Amphithéâtre Cogeco and Place Bell. To this day, Place Bell is still the largest Luminex network deployment in the world.

Fabrice Gosnet is the user experience manager at Luminex Network Intelligence. Formerly product manager, and deeply involved in the design of the renown GigaCore range of Ethernet switches, Fabrice has an extensive background in AV network design, customer support and training. After all these years, Fabrice has developed a specific approach to demystify the network technology to the end users, by spreading the words “Networking Made Easy” around the world.
