 acy and to a listening ear from the federal government, the live perform
 ance sector was granted exceptional recovery and reopening funding. Thes
 e measures will however soon come to an end and base funding for present
 ing and festival organizations will fall back to the same level as 15 ye
 ars ago… unless the federal government invests new funds.\n\nPresentin
 g and festival organizations are invited to a special town hall on feder
 al funding via the Canada Arts Presentation Fund and the Building Commun
 ities through Arts and Heritage program. Speakers will assess current r
 ealities for each program and talk about tangible actions that everyone 
 can take to convince the federal government to reinvest in these program
 s.\n\nThis sector-wide town hall is co-hosted by the Canadian Associatio
 n for the Performing Arts (CAPACOA), the Canadian Live Music Associatio
