Where did the summer go ? School has started, summer festival season is winding down for many and theatre seasons are opening across the country. Thank you to everyone who joined us in Winnipeg for Rendez-vous 2016. It was great to see so many familiar faces gathered in the heart of Winnipeg's historic exchange district. We had a blast! This year's conference and tradeshow, hosted by the fantastic folks at the Centennial Concert Hall and the Royal Manitoba Theatre Centre, marked our first return to the central prairies since 1999. It was great to reconnect with members from across Manitoba and Saskatchewan, and to share tips, tricks, techniques and great discussions with everyone who joined us from across this great country.

Où est donc passé l'été ? L’école a repris, la saison des festivals touche à sa fin et les théâtres lancent leurs programmations un peu partout dans le pays. Merci à tous ceux qui se sont joints à nous pour le Rendez-vous 2016 à Winnipeg. Ce fut un plaisir de voir tant de visages familiers réunis au cœur du quartier historique de la ville. On s’est éclaté! La conférence et le salon de cette année, accueillis par les fantastiques équipes du Centenial Concert Hall et du Royal Manitoba Theatre Centre, marquent notre premier retour dans les Prairies depuis 1999. Ce fut un grand moment de reconnecter avec nos membres du Manitoba et de la Saskatchewan et de partager des conseils, des astuces, des techniques et des discussions enrichissantes avec tous ceux et celles qui sont venus des quatre coins du pays.

Awards for the 2016 ESTA Volunteer of the Year announced
The ESTA Volunteer of the Year Award was created to honor Frank Stewart for his selfless 18 year tenure as Treasurer of ESTA.This award recognizes extraordinary effort by a volunteer or group of volunteers during the previous year and is bestowed by the ESTA Board of Directors.
