The conference offers three days of sessions,
workshops, backstage tours,trade show,
social events and networking opportunities.
The CITT trade show allows suppliers and
manufacturers to showcase new products
and stage technologies to the attendees

Rendez-vous is also the occasion for CITT’s Annual General Meeting: a must for all CITT members to learn more about what the organisation has been doing over the year and to review the annual reports and financial statement.
Evening social events include the opening night Meet & Greet Junk Challenge on Thursday August 14, the ever zany Swag Bingo Live Auction on Friday night following the trade show, and the conference highlight: the CITT Awards Banquet where we honours those individuals and companies who have excelled in their field of live performance in Canada.
Rendez-vous 2014 will be hosting a bigger trade show with longer visiting hours over a 2-day span at the Ottawa Convention Centre. Pre-conference workshops will be replaced with hands-on training and backstage tours. Education Forum and Roadhouse Roundtable discussions will be moved to Saturday. The Annual General Meeting will become an AGM breakfast on Saturday. Those are just a few of the changes planned as we prepare the 24th CITT/ICTS Rendez-vous. As usual, the New Product Breakfast will kick off the Friday morning. Our social events will remain the same: Junk Challenge on Thursday, Swag Bingo on Friday and the Awards Banquet on Saturday.
But the best news is that the national board is reviewing the conference delegate fees and will be proposing a substantial reduction to the full conference fee structure for both regular and student members. To offset this reduction, the trade show exhibitor registration fees will be adjusted to reflect the new 2-day format. With the cancellation in 2014 of the PAL Show in Toronto and the EN COULISSE Salon in Montréal, we have increased the trade show floor space to accommodate more vendors and make CITT/ICTS’s Trade Show a one of a kind event.
So block the dates – Thursday August 14 to Saturday August 16, 2014 - in your calendar, and join us in Ottawa to experience Canada’s unique Rendez-vous!
