Olivier Gagnon is one of those artisans who transform the ordinary into memorable through pinpoint and harmonious design of audio and video. Rigorous, invested, and a perfectionist, Olivier continues to refine his expertise in system engineering thanks to various specialized training courses in audio-video. His leadership and professionalism have allowed him to collaborate with the best in his field on an international scale. Olivier has led 20k since its founding in 2008, a company specializing in the design of technologies applied to architecture and the performing arts, and hundreds of projects have taken advantage of his expertise, including the Festival d’été de Québec, the COGECO Amphitheatre, the Cirque du Soleil, the permanent show of Britney Spears and the Victoria Secret Fashion Show.
Thien Vu Dang's professional career evolved from cinema to the world of Vj-ing in 2001 after he discovered the exploratory potential of live video. He also played an unifying role by being the co-founder of SAT_MixSessions and the Minutes Moments. After spending three years in Moment factory’s studios, Thien is now dedicated to his artistic career and setting up happenings in order to celebrate media and arts that inspire him.

Louise Boucher: Since its inception in 1999, Louise Boucher is the Executive Director of the culture human resource sectorial committee, known as the Conseil québécois des ressources humaines en culture (CQRHC) and renamed Compétence Culture in 2015. 2016-2017 is the year of the Sectorial Diagnosis of Human Resources, which makes this roundtable a privileged moment to explore the issues regarding skills development and work organization.

Mickael Frascodore, Vice President Production Events at Équipe Spectra. He has been in the industry for 17 years. Since 2010, he has been managing the annual logistics and technical operations of more than 1000 events with more than 1,200 employees under his supervision during peak periods. He is responsible for budgets of several million dollars. His passion and interest in the visual arts and new multimedia technologies led him to develop the digital technology and digital arts component of Montréal en Lumière.

Patrick Loubert. After his graduation in 1992 from the Collège Lionel-Groulx – Theatre Department, Patrick became André Montmorency’s stage director assistant and production assistant for his shows. He later became touring manager and production director assistant for Productions Avanti Plus, and then in the 2000s he turned to circus as touring director assistant and logistics director. After managing the tours for Cirque Éloïze, Cavalia and Productions J, Patrick is now the technical director for the Théâtre du Nouveau Monde and teachs production management and technical direction at the Collège Lionel-Groulx.

Patrick Martin Director of Production at the Festival d’été de Québec since 2003, he has followed the festival in its transformation, which is now an international renowned event. Under his leadership, each of the eleven evenings of the festival achieve unparalleled technical success.

Christian Noël is the Director General, Les Arts de la scène de Montmagny. A presenter and a teacher, Christian has been working in culture since 1999 in Montmagny, after being a producer of records and shows, then manager of artists.  He is the initiator of the program Gestion et techniques de scene at the Centre d'études collégiales de Montmagny, a training course designed for future technicians available since 2003. With his team of enthusiasts, he has just completed the construction of a new performing arts venue  and created a new festival!

Marie-Claude Pion: Graduated in Theatre Design from the Concordia University, a teacher and coordinator of the Theatre-production department at the Cegep Saint-Hyacinthe, Marie-Claude is also a renowned scenic painter for the theatre, the circus, the television and events. She participates to the update of the Theatre-Production program with the Ministry of Education and Higher Education.

Jason Vergnano is an International Representative of the IATSE, based in Montreal, Quebec. A member of the IATSE for over 17 years, Jason served as the Business Agent of IATSE local 56 for 7 years before joining the IATSE International's Canadian staff. Among Jason's many responsibilities, is assisting IATSE locals with training initiatives through the IATSE Entertainment and Exhibition Industries Training Trust Fund.

Dany Legendre is a highly respected technical artist throughout Quebec and has mixed a wide variety of concerts, special events and live broadcasts internationally. He has a deep knowledge of DiGiCo mixing consoles and is recognized by DPA Microphones as a member of their exclusive "DPA Master’s Club”.  Most recently, Dany acted as the Head of Audio for the well-known French Canadian Artist “Roch Voisine”.  Dany is based in Montreal and heads up sales in the Quebec market for GerrAudio.

With this, Geoff is leading an educational effort by offering "how-to" sessions similar to this seminar to demonstrate what can be achieved when equipped with the right tools. Bio notes: 
Sylvain Marotte, a graduate from the UQAC Digital Arts School in 1993, has directed the BigBang FX studios and taught 3D animation before turning to the camera and direction. For the past five years, he has worked with XYZ as a multimedia director / screenwriter. He is currently developing an immersive and interactive experience that will be presented at Sorel-Tracy's Quai No2, and he will complete his artistic residency at the SAT as well as his master's thesis on the spatialization of the film narrative.
Erwan D’Orgeville has contributed to several projects as an interactive programmer, including Aura (immersive travel in the heart of downtown), Lonely Land (interactive sandbox) and many websites. After working  at Normal Studio, Erwan joined XYZ a year ago to help develop the Interactivity Department. He is currently working on an interactive model project for a major real estate developer in the United Arab Emirates.
